Zombie Prom

Music by Dana P. Rowe

Book and Lyrics by John Dempsey

Director: Shannon Gaffney

Producer/Sound Designer: Julianne Mason
The Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre (New York, NY)

This is a fun and crazy rock musical is set in the atomic 1950s at Enrico Fermi High. There is an overbearing principal, a good girl Toffee who falls for the bad boy Jonny, and when she ultimately breaks up with him, he throws himself into a vat of nuclear waste at the plant next door to the school. He returns as a Zombie to win back the girl and finish his education. The music is fun 1950s standards with a kooky twist.

There was a mixture of live singing, speech, sound effects, and recorded voice effects.
